Meet the Leafy Lush Family: Growing Together, Learning Always

Welcome to our little corner of the internet! We’re the family behind the Leafy Lush blog – Naresh, Chaitra, Mithil, and little Chiravi. We’re not expert gardeners, but we are a family passionate about growing our own food and learning together. Here’s a bit about us and why we started this blog:

Our Family Garden

Our garden is a mix of Naresh’s tech-savvy approaches, Chaitra’s well-researched plant care, Mithil’s innovative ideas, and Chiravi’s… let’s call it “enthusiastic help.” From our herb-filled balcony to our veggie-packed backyard, we’re always trying something new.

How We Grow and Help Each Other

  • Naresh: I’m an electronics guy who loves plants. At home, I’m all about gardening. My balcony has herbs, and my terrace grows veggies. I even use tech to help my plants grow better! Sharing my harvest with others makes me happy.
  • Chaitra: I’m a tech writer who adores plants. My days are spent turning complex tech ideas into easy-to-read content. When I’m not writing, I’m tending to my indoor jungle. My home is filled with leafy friends–from tiny succulents to rare herbs. Plants bring life to both my space and my words!
  • Mithil: I’m a 9 year old who’s crazy about robots! At school, I love my robotics class where we build cool machines. At home, I help my parents in our home garden.
  • Chirasvi: I’m 5 years old and I LOVE plants! Mommy, Daddy, and big brother have lots of green friends. I help take care of them! Sometimes I spill water or mix up the soil, but that’s okay. Plants like to play too, right? I’m the best little garden helper ever!

What We’re Learning and Sharing

Every day brings new discoveries. We’re figuring out:

  • How to maximize growth in small spaces
  • Balancing technology and traditional gardening methods
  • Kid-friendly gardening activities
  • Turning gardening mishaps into learning opportunities

Why We Started Leafy Lush

We’re not experts, but we are enthusiastic learners. We started this blog to:

  1. Document our family’s gardening journey
  2. Share our successes (and failures!) with other beginner gardeners
  3. Connect with like-minded families and learn from our readers
  4. Inspire others to start their own home gardens, no matter how small
